Leads the organization’s vision and strategy, building pathways through basketball, mentorship, and education to empower youth to reach their full potential.

Oversees the financial management of Children of the Nile, ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of resources. Manages budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance to support program delivery and long term sustainability. In addition, he leads the organization’s digital systems and platforms, strengthening operational efficiency, online presence, and technology driven impact.

Majok Deng is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Children of the Nile, where he provides strategic and operational leadership across the organization. He oversees the development and coordination of programs, partnerships, and organizational initiatives, working closely with the team and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery. Majok brings a strong commitment to community development, youth empowerment, and creating meaningful opportunities for the communities Children of the Nile serves.

Leads the day to day operations of Children of the Nile, overseeing strategic partnerships, program coordination, and on the ground implementation across South Sudan. Plays a key role in ensuring effective program delivery while also serving as a mentor to youth participants, helping guide their personal growth, leadership development, and long term success both on and off the court.

Mabil supports the development and delivery of Children of the Nile’s youth programs and community engagement initiatives. He works closely with young people, coaches, mentors, families, and local communities to coordinate basketball camps, mentorship activities, outreach programs, and youth development opportunities, helping create lasting impact on and off the court.
