Born in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Mabilmawut went on to play Division I basketball at the University of Arizona. He founded Children of the Nile to build the pathway he once needed.

Leads day-to-day operations, strategic partnerships, and on-the-ground program delivery across South Sudan, while also serving as a mentor to youth participants.

Leads the design, development, and ongoing management of the Children of the Nile digital platform, including website architecture, content systems, and visual updates. Oversees social media strategy and content execution to ensure consistent branding, storytelling, and engagement across all digital channels
