Children of the Nile hosted a successful shoe drive at the University of Arizona Football Spring Showcase collecting shoes to support children in South Sudan.

Children of the Nile proudly hosted a highly successful shoe drive during the University of Arizona Football Spring Showcase at Casino Del Sol Stadium, bringing together community members, supporters, and student-athletes for a meaningful cause.
The event, held from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Gate 3, collected a significant number of new and gently used athletic shoes. These donations will directly benefit children in South Sudan, providing them with essential footwear that supports both their daily lives and participation in sports.
Founded with a mission to empower communities, Children of the Nile continues to bridge the gap between opportunity and access for youth in Mabil’s hometown. The overwhelming support from attendees and donors reflects the power of community-driven impact and shared purpose.
